Maybe use a programmer and raise or remove the governor.
how would i do that i have a code reader can i use that
It will have to be a programmer that can re-flash the ecu. Just make sure you can change the rev-limiter with it before buying. ECU piggyback systems may also do the job for you.
Superchip....., hypertech will as well I believe. But it had absolutely nothing to do with you changing the oil
super chips is your best bet...3865 is the model number you're looking for it's 379$
turn the ignition key. (so i've heard) it kills all the electronics including the governer. It wont hurt your starter, the starter will not work if your car is in Drive or if you have the clutch out on MT
before you hit the limiter, you have to turn the key forward and hold it, like your trying to start. IIRC the gauges don't work when you do this
will the gauges start to work when i stop turning the key
yes.... although I'm not sure why you want to.... i don't remember if the limiter kicks back on when you let go of the key tho The best way is with a programmer or a PCM flash
