Probably the best part of the weekend..... the entire dash has to be removed or at minimum, un bolted and pulled forward
Justin, I might be a bit late, but the cost is the price of a can of black pepper, just disconnect the heater hoses mix about a 1/2 can of pepper with water pour the mixture onto the core, leave the core disconnected, use a coupler to connect both hoses so you can drive your truck, let the mix set for a few days, you will notice the wet spot stay for a while, but I assure you that is all it will take. take it from an old man!
Black pepper work on heater core leaks ?
Evkev, seem's to me you have not tried this part of using black pepper on vehicle heaters or radiators! i have been using it over two years, guess what, no leaks! and it took about twenty minutes to get it done! how do you like them apples, to me you must be a starter on mechanics, cause you metioned probably not a player, you need to study more + you can not knock something you have not tried, you might just might misslead someone!
Black pepper is not a real fix. That's funny though
