02 dodge dakota, shuts off

its not an issue of emergency fuel shut off as there really isn't one, only a roll over check valve in the back of the tank to stop fuel poring out which is unrelated just an fyi. The crank position sensor sends a signal to the computer to say that it wants to run or is running which kicks on the fuel pump using the Auto shutdown relay, check the relay when it shuts off to see if you have power then check the connector at the pump to make sure it has power, if either one does not then back track the power to find wearing its disappearing. you may have to do your checks with the engine hot and stalled out as heat can play a major roll in sensors working or not working also make sure the wiring hasn't fallen onto any moving parts causing it to get cut and short out as you move.
