2001 Dodge Intrepid will start, then die and fails to restart

Asked by Tpcarter Sep 10, 2012 at 06:18 PM about the Dodge Intrepid

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had the fault codes 168.4, 030.0, and 017.4 showing.  I changed the 02 sensor.  The car would not start.  I was told the spark plugs needed to be replaced.  I changed the spark plugs. Drove the car home.  Car seemed to run a little rough.  Drove the car to school and home.  No problems starting just running rough.  This afternoon started the car to go to the store.  The car started but it sounded really rough.  It ran for a few minutes then died.  The car would not restart.  What do you think the problem could be now.

It could be a number of things. Take the car to a mechanic, you'll be happy you did.
