Whats the best bolt-in cold air intake for the 5.7 RT? It needs to look good besides making more HP. Thanks!

the only CAI to actually make moee hp than stock form is an aFe stage 2 CAI. all others lose hp! its around $300. anything else is a waste of time.

btw...the most cost effective performance increase for that hemi is to put in a 180 degree t-stat. heat soak on those engines starts around 190 and serisouly robs you of power. if you are really looking to make her run nice do a 180 t-stat upgrade with an aFe stage 2 CAI and a diablo tune. be careful of any aftermarket exhaust for those also. they tend to rob the hemi of what makes it so great, torque! good luck and have fun. hope this was helpful

hey thanks for that info! I checked out the AFE unit, it looks good. Not flashy, just functional. I heard mixed results on the t-stat, mileage really suffers? Not doing any exhaust changes for now. I don't wanna be loud, just wanna be quick. :)

i understand where youre coming from. ive got the 300C. ive only heard good results about the t-stat. never heard it causing a loss in mileage. ive heard improved but never loss. im selling my 300C to try to get an SRT 300C instead. otherwise i would have the aFe stage 2 CAI, t-stat, and diablo tune. those 3 mods are right around $1000. you can really make that engine mean with those 3 upgrades. and the CAI sounds sweet on the hemi too.
