Neons had lots of head gasket issues. Check the coolant level. Also pull the oil dipstick to see if it has any trace of coolant and milky white material indicating coolant in the oil. If the smoke is very white and dense I is most likely a head gasket that has failed.
My neon is smoking white between the catalytic converter and the engine and out the exhaust out the back when the car warms up, my coolant is full idk what it could be
Tennisshoes - read the question from a few minutes ago. Between the catalytic converter and the engine? Maybe something is leaking onto the exhaust.
its probably a blown head gasket i just wish it wasnt
I am thinking the smoke at the tail pipe may be condensation or a head gasket leak but the other issue could be a fluid leak onto the exhaust. Not enough information or feedback.
