I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500, just recently had both front wheel bearings replaced. With 10" of fresh snow, I thought would be a great opportunity to use my 4WD, engaged 4HI and nothing! Any ideas?

I've owned several Dodge 4x4's over the last 30 yrs. Never once have I had a problem with 4x4. I'm
getting a light grind noise in the front left, I suspect that is where the problem lies, Transfer case
engages, front shaft engages, proper indicator light on dash, but nothing but grind at the front left.

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7 Sport. I recently put in a new/used motor because my old one had a bad crankshaft. So after getting new motor in I started the truck and it ran great. I only ran it for about 5 seconds because I noticed I had a broken transmission line. I went back the next day and fixed the line. I went to start the truck back up and nothing happened. No click no nothing, everything lights up on dash. My engine light comes on and blinks about tens times than stays steady. My gear selections are all lit up.
