gotta ask, how old is your battery...this one sounds like it's at least ten years old the ability of a car battery to receive a charge degrades 10% pear year, so ten years old is surviving on whatever is left on board~ get a new battery, clean the connection to chassis and terminals (there are wirebrush tools for this)...you'll have a new battery but clean the terminals and connections to the block as well, and you're gonna be happy~
battery is possible but we tried to jump it and nothing ...put voltage meter on battery said 11.8 volts
before this I did have problems with it starting in park ...but then that stopped but the other day wouldn't start in park or neutral until I shifted a few time now that didn't work either

you MUST buy a new battery, Interstate is amongst the best, was $115.00 for my Toyota pickup interstate...count on shellin' out the dough for the goods~
The battery has low volts but it should have started with the jumper cables. Check the fuses. It sounds like the ignition signal is not getting to the starter. You can check for volts on the small starter wire when the key is in the "Start" position.

maybe you'd like to acquiant yourself with how this neutral safety is bolted in, and take it off of there for testing....it is possible that the darned thing just came loose~
thank you all all have been helpful I will check the fuses and safety switch...and let you know how it turns out
