are you changing the boot to?
Could also be faulty fuel injector for that cylinder. Might try some sea foam in your gas tank. This will clean your injectors.

Where is valve located at?i don't know nothing about trucks n thanks for the help guys
The valve is an internal part of the head. Not something you can see without tearing the head apart. I do not advise that. But having a compression test done will tell you if it's operating properly and is not that hard to preform.

Swap the #3 fuel injector with another one on the engine to see if the miss moves with the fuel injector. Putting Seafoam in the tank will not clean an injector that is not passing fuel. When you get it fixed run some Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner once or twice between oil changes to help keep the fuel system clean.

I put brand new mad blaster coils new plugs new Taylor shorty wires still had a miss on#2 pulled plugs on #2 they never had fired. Put my old plug wire on That fixed it I got a bad new wire now Got to find out if they will make it good I mention MSD coils
It would be much less confusing if you other people with issues started your own question in a new thread.
Something else that may be useful in your search for the elusive miss is a compression test. It is possible that a valve spring could be broken or a pushrod be bent or something else in the valve train be in need of repair.
Yup, it started a long time ago and people really wrongfully added to it.
I'm having the same issues with my 07 Dodge Ram 5.7. I checked fuel psi and vaccum tested all was good so that eliminates compression and fuel. I was originally getting p0304 and0300 codes since then it's now 0303 and 0300 shortly after start up,all the time!
I've reset the pcm and swapped coils with#1 same issue but once I delete the codes with my code reader all is great til I stop somewhere and shut off the engine for a few minutes. Stupido Dodge computer.
Just adding my experience to this thread. 2011 ram hemi. One of the lifters seized up, and ground down the lobe on the camshaft. I've read elsewhere this is a common issue with this engine. $4,000 bill.
check your intake they tend to burn up melt around injector hole when missfiring

Common Problem on 5.7 L Dodge Ram Cylinder misfire #3-#5-#8... -Change coil pack and plugs code ... -Still misfire? Compression test cylinders...(can be done before changing coil pack or move coil pack to other cylinder to see if the misfire follows the coil pack #) -Engine still misfire same cylinder code 303,305,308....Lifters and maybe cam shaft replace. The problem with the 5.7L misfire code and lifter and cam shaft damage causing needed replacement of cam shaft, lifters at a minimum.. This issue is caused by faulty needle bearings in lifters failing. This 2$ bearing failure will cost you around 3500$ to 4500$ Cad repair bill ...Dodge knows if we all know and has not issued recalls for Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7L yet ..Why??? Only dodge know all we know is that it will cost you the price of a down payment on a Chevy or a Ford....
