Have you replaced the thermostat yet? If not the original owner, someone may have removed it completely. Has it overheated as well?
No I haven't replaced the thermostat yet and it's not over heating I just had to add sum water a couple times and just decided to check it out! And it just seemed weird that it want building any pressure or circulating but it's not over heating
It may be losing pressure due to the radiator cap itself. Sometimes the seal goes bad. If your temp gauge is not red lining, and is in the mid range, your thermostat is fine. If your temp is running in the cold range all the time, I would check your thermostat. Could be stuck open.
Ok! The temp gauge takes a while to come up when I first crank it and the check gauges light cums on! Then I can kill my truck and start it back and it goes off
You should drive it to an Autozone and get the error codes read. Even if the light goes out after a while, the code will be stored. Probably just a bad O2 sensor.
Top hose is getting tight, hot hard goes pass half mark, and then comes back down, do I need to change thermostat?
