1997 Dodge Ram 4x4 w RWAL abs light and brake light stay on I was told to replace the CAB But where is it????

My friend had that problem. Check the pedal switch, if not properly adjusted the brake lights will stay on as if you are pressing on the pedal. Also check the spring return on the brake pedal, if it is not tight enough the pedal sags and the light stays on. He checked both, made the necessary adjustments and the problem was solved. Maybe some other Guru knows what the CAB is, frankly I have no idea. And if you are able to fix the problem, go back to the shop and tell them that you replaced the Fuzzilometer in the car.

C.A.B.>>>Cash At Breakage!...and lots of it! It's your brake light switch just like on every other vehicle out there. Dodge puts theirs up high on the brake pedal, and just like Jorge typed...it's outta adjustment. It pulls triple duty if you have cruise control...1)brake lights switch, 2)cruise control disconnect, and 3)ABS module engage. With an average set of tools you can adjust it yourself. Look on youtube (God bless those mad monks), I'm sure they have a vid on exactly how to DIY.
Holly Toledo!, jetjurnigan, thank you for solving the CAB riddle for me. I hope Dana gets the car fixed and tells the shop about the Fuzzilometer.

YEAH BUT!!!, if you don't have the automatic difriculating xenopolycythemic fully-articulating hydrospool option, then the fuzzilometer isn't monitored the ECM!
