dual gas tanks

Question type: General

My Dodge  3500, 2018 has 2 gas tanks but no one knows how you switch from
one tank to the other.Is there a switch & if so, where is it??

Did you read your owners manual? My guess is that it is automatic.

Since I was curious I looked it up. The secondary tank periodically transfers fuel to the main tank. No action needed on your part.

This is not an answer but a question. My 2016 3500 has duel tanks. My gauge says empty but my front tank is full, the back tank was empty but when I filled the back tank up (the front was full) it says I have a half a tank.grrr please help I am very new to this and yes I read the manual... all 3 as a matter of fact and I googled it.
