gas tank door is locked on mercedes C230

The fuel door is controlled by a vacuum motor which runs off a vacuum pump which is behind the right rare panel in the trunk. the vacuum hose to the fuel tank door motor might have a leak or is disconnected or the vacuum motor has failed. As well as the vacuum pump could be faulty. Does your central locking system still works on the car doors? if so, then the problem is isolated to just the fuel tank door vacuum motor.

Central locking is not working. Actually both the trunk and the fuel door wont open

I Have same problem, started yesterday. Cant open trunk with key and cant open Fuel door. Also doors wont close or open with remote . Only Green and red light shows on mirror. Must use key to open passenger door and others inside. C220 1994 w202

if your doors are unlocked the gas door is as well you just push in on the right side and it poses open

this is on the 2006 mercedes c230 sport sedan
