Hello I have a 97 K1500 that starts fine when its cold but when it gets hot it will barely turn over. Replaced starter, new battery and connections are good. I sthis a fuel press. problem?

I would check fuel pressure, check for proper PSI. Yours should be above 55 but still check a manual. Also make sure it holds that PSI for at least 10 min. Since you problem is when it's hot then test it hot. Also it may be a sensor messing up. I have seen the Crank Angle sensor mess up when heated up and not send the signals to send fuel. Can you elaborate on the exact symptom of "barely turning over"?
my bad didnt read the hole question your timing may be a little retarded. to much or to little.
