i have a 98 gmc 1500 ext. will a lift kit off a 01 chevy 1500 ext work

no because the body style changed from 98 to 99 any lift from 88 to 98 will work but from 99 to 06 won't.

I'm actually getting ready to put one from a 93 1500 suburbanon an 02 2500 8 ft pickup extended cab and I will make it work you can do anything if you want it to be done

It most certainly will if the frame rails are the same width with with some knowledge I saw in a welder you can get it done as long as that Dropbox will bolt up for them torsion bars correctly everything squared and true to each other it'll work
