Heating up and cooling down

Your cooling system probably needs servicing. 230 is too hot. Do check the coolant level and purge air out of the system.
Coolant good. System has been bleed. Have slight leak on radiator. But stays full. it doesn't do it all the time. Only once in awhile.
Fix the leak and make sure the cooling fan works. Also inspect for leaves and bugs plugging up the radiator. Fix the leak before it gets bigger or you could lose the engine.
If all else fails a heavy duty radiator should solve the problem,
Planed to this weekend. I know the fans work. Just seems like they don't turn on when they need to. Replaced relays and sensor . just hoping it's not the pump. And doing thermostat while in there.
I know it is possible to get programmable fan controllers so that you can set the "On" point. I would probably set it to come on at 190 degrees.
I found a Hayden controller that not only controls the set point but it controls the fans speed.
