my benz 1997 e 320 want stay strated think it may be the chip in keycase,have replaced batteries but dont know where the chip came froml

I think if the chip was bad it would not start at all.

its not that the chip is bad, i just dont know where it goes, i dropped key and it broke open and everything poped out...
