how long is ok it for the engine not to b running or have any fluids running through it during the winter?

Best thing to do to winterize a classic car that will be sitting is to change the oil right before you put it into storage, so it's fresh oil, not acidic used oil. Take all the spark plugs out and squirt some WD40 or some lightweight penetrating oil like a RemOil into each cylinder. Then put the plugs back in. You should be fine come spring!

listen to littlehorn he is good,i would have suggested same. only one other thing inflate tire psi about 25 psimore this eill eliminate flat spotting your tires.
