Question type: Shopping & Pricing
I am trying to decide betweeen 2 cars. One is 1999 Mercedes ML 430, 87K miles listed at 11900. The other is a 2000 Mercedes ML 320, 81000 miles. What do you think?

Go with the newer one less problems with 2000 up if you can find a 2002 and up. I have a 2002 ML320 and love it. Check out http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w163-m-class/ there is a lot of great info there!
Totally agree with Thomas! Our 2001 ML320 got all the schedule maintenance on it but by the time it hit pass the 100,000 miles mark, we had a few problems and it took a few visits to the shop and fix it all up. Once those problems were fixed, the car runs fine now. If you really want to buy an older ML, be prepared there will be some potential problems that came with the car, not related to how well the car is taken care of. It is just that the MLs wasn't built very well before year 2002...
the 320 the 430 drinks fuel , its a thirsty car , but lovley
I drive a 2002 ML320, it is sloooooow. If you don't care about performance, buy the 320, if you do, buy the 430. The difference is MPG is negligible i.e. 1 MPG on average.
