The hard part of armoring vehicles is the glass. The only way is to buy the curved glass from a glass factory. Most are located in Colombia and a few in Mexico. The most common level is IIIA or Hand Gun II. It can be from 15 to 22mm thick. Will stop everything but rifles. You can go up in thickness (and weight) with 33mm glass. This will stop AK-47 and 5.56. Level CEN B5 You can even go higher to 42mm to stop 7.62 Nato Ball. NIJ III or CEN B6 More info in http://www.isbi.us
