where is fuel filter located on a s420

on most newer cars, the fuel filter is mounted to the fuel pump, which is located in the fuel tank.

1995 s 420 Mercedes Benz drives about 2 miles and cuts off what's wrong with it

If I wait about 30 minutes it will crank back up and I can drive about 2 miles again don't understand what's wrong
