Question type: General

Will removing the resonator hamper the performance of the SL500. I don't want the car to
sound like a hot-rod but a little deeper would be good.

It will sound ridiculous. Find an exhaust manufacturer that make performance exhaust. Not sure if magna flow makes something for your ride. Stay away from cheep aftermarket, ie it will be a fart can.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into an exhaust rather than remove the resonator.
