I need to troubleshoot my ignition for a 1975 dodge dart

Asked by Lappen16 Sep 13, 2016 at 09:42 PM about the Dodge Dart

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

sometimes when i turn the key there is no turn over of the engine. However I
can jump the two posts on the starter with a screw driver and the car starts
instantly. It only happens once in a while. It seems like it happens more when
the car is warmed up.

Well, it's not a battery, starter or cable issue, all ur doing is bypassing ignition switch and neutral or clutch safety switch, check those 2.
