It's ur keyfob, I had same problem n dealership looked at it. They changed batteries in keyfob, said it got wet inside fob and that caused the button receivers to shift around in fob so it would randomly pop trunk open thinking open trunk(×2) button was being pushed.
My senior indicates my trunk is open when its not

I second the keyfob answer. But don't just change the battery. Go the extra step and clean the button contacts. Get some tweezers, q-tips and some alcohol. Under the rubber button skin there are little metal cups that rest on the circuit board. Clean the board contacts and the little cups and place them carefully back on the rubber button skin. Lay the circuit board back onto the rubber skin and put everything else back together.
