No, the Durango is a 4 door SUV version of the Dakota. I could be wrong.

That's actually very new to me what you just told me. I never knew that about the durango. what I mean is, well you remember the 1995- 2002 dodge ram? did that version have a 4 door SUV version that kinda looked like a suburban or an excursion? I thought I saw a pic of one that looked like that but when I went back to find the picture, I didn't remember what website it was.
durango was never a dodge ram and is still not on the dodge ram platform...the current durango (while bigger than the current dakota) is actually still not a ram platform. the only "late model" ram based suv chrysler made was a mexican built ramcharger, only avail in 2wd, 2 doors, and looked like a grand caravan and a 1500 ram mated...google it if you're interested... and the all new model durango will be sharing a brand new platform with the grand cherokee supposedly here is a custom modern ram suv that is CUSTOM not production dakota
