My vechicle was diagnose to have a faulty mass air flow sensor and fuel filter.I was driving and my car shutdown and won't start. What could be my solution

The MAF detects air flow going into the engine. If it doesn't detect any, engine will not start. Clogged Gas line/filter will also cause the same condition. Suggest the MAF first to fix. Could also be faulty check wires too.
