Are you talking about a V6 or a 2.0L Beta? Your Accent has the Alpha 1.6 right?
The 2.0 motor will fit on the mounting points with little fabrication. The V6 will also work but its a hell of a job. We've had guys fit small block V8s in mini coopers,.

yeah I got the alpha 1.6... I was thinking putting the v6 but It looks big to install... the transmission will be near groung under the car am I right?
What you're about to do is open a big bucket of worms! I had a friend with an older Accent. I installed a low restriction air intake on the car and it must have gained at least 10-12 horses. That is a very tunable power plant! I'd go with normal bolt ons and a computer upgrade and see what developed before I attempted a lot of MAJOR and unproven fabrication.
Logan, a ton of Hyundai tuning and developments have been done 1.6L Alpha to 2.0L Beta swaps have been done a million times over. It's as easy as a D16 to B16 swap. Switching to the V6 is not much more work I think it is only an engine mount of 2. Check out some of the serious hyundai forums, there is lots to learn. Hyundai's aftermarket is beging to get really big.
I had a simpler question along those lines... I have a 1.5 and had been told a Tiburon throttle body will work on it for a little more air. Is this true?
Can u put a 2.0 in a hyundai accent fits right in or have to modify
