I have a 1987 gmc sierra that idles fine but has no power off idle,did plugs, wires, cap,rotor and fuel filter with no change,maybe a distributor prob?

Sounds like a bad fuel pressure regulator or a bad fuel pump. Check for vacuum leaks also.....
