I have a 1994 accord. I noticed a drip under car and smelled gas. I saw that gas was leaking from the vent tube coming from the evap canister. would the canister be bad or is there another problem causing this.

It might not be being purged...very very important, should be no liquid gasoline to begin with in the canister, check ALL vacuum hoses carefully

I feel compelled to add...PLEASE be very careful...if you are not mechanically inclined take it to a shop, the risk of fire is great. Life and death, The car can be replaced, You can not
