I've seen 215-40-R18 on a 98 civic but i was told on my 99 it will rub any above 205-40-R17
i have a 96 on stock suspension and im running 17's with 205/40/r17 and have no problems at all....either way i wouldnt go bigger than 16 cuz i think y 17's look too big =/

yes they look big but u have a better tire selection on the 17s
i have 16's on mine (they came with when we bought the car) so they are not a tire or rim that is actually mad for the car so anytime i put weight in the back they rub like fu**er as long as you get 16'2 that are made for a civic youll be fine

Don't go bigger than 17's. 18s are too big for civics
