Why are you accepting private sellers?

Question type: General

Why don't you have only dealerships when it comes to sellers. I  have never
had such a hard time when it comes to trying to buy a vehicle online from
private sellers. I've been on Ebay motors, Craigslist and now your website only
to be scammed, have miscommunications or as is the case here, things turn
complicated immediately.  I informed this seller to meet me halfway for a test
drive since I am a 100 miles away to meet him in New Jersey. I am in upstate
new York. He's at work and doesn't seem to want to compromise. Don't
understand why he's not selling through a dealership or why you are accepting
private sellers and the added problems for both seller and buyer. Anyway I've
wasted enough of time here. Thanks

You did waste your time. Maybe the seller didn't think you were serious enough cause you didn't want to make the drive?. It happens, not just on this site.
