alternator compatibility

I have an F250V10 put a fuel pump in it twice It cranks up run about 30 seconds I drop the tank down I turn the key on II unhooked the fuel lines turn the key on a it pump It cut off after about 10 seconds it should Have stayed pumping I told you over at pumped is gestion
