09 nissan murano awd

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trans whines constantly, park, neutral and driving.
Have stopped driving it. What chances it is not
shot? Any fix to try? Might have access to a 2010
trans, will it fit in my 2009?

Chance is is not shot? 1/10? Maybe the whine is just the torque converter. Have a mechanic familiar with these rolling disasters look at it.

Or maybe the pump is starving? I'll do my own work on it. White about the 2010 transmission?
