Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1988 camaro v 6  2.8l.   It doesnt get used a ton,
but it ran fairly good.  Now, having trouble getting it to start
and stay running.  Cleaned distributor cap, put in new
module, ignition coil.  The car would start and run while
parked for a little while.  Then, when I would go back a few
hours later, it wouldn't start.   Now, it starts but it idols
high/low like starved for fuel.  Could it be a fuel filter issue?

The idle air control valve aids in controlling the air/gas ratio, but yes, fuel filter could be another possible issue
