Why does my Honda keep dying

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a 1990 Honda Civic hatchback. I’ve
replaced the fuel filter and the alternator now but
while I’m driving it the check engine light, the oil
light and the battery light come on and then it dies.
Battery is good. I’m so confused. What else should
I try.

If all the lights are on as you described, you can scan for the OBDii trouble codes to find the problem. Have an auto parts store do this for you, most times it's free.

So it’s weird though cause the lights only come on when it happens. And then as soon as I can get it to start again they all shut off
