died while driving wont start

i was driving the truck all of a sudden lost all power then i
tried to restart no go my friend came and gave me a jump it
started while i was pumping the gas it spitter sput for a
minute then i put it in gear and tried to go and it died.did
the same thing 2 times now it turns over but wont start
please help

The fact that its spitting and sputtering hints at a fuel issue combined with dying when put in gear hints low fuel pressure, either by a dirty fuel filter, or weak fuel pump....(assuming that it's not out of gas)
