Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Jaguar  S Type . I have replaced the
brakes,  disc pads and the power steering pump
system.  To get the intake manifold, belts and rack
and pinion fixed and replaced it will cost me
$2000. The body work will cost me $4000.  The car
has 89,000 miles. I  am thinking that if I get that
done then I will practically have a new car.  On the
other hand, I want to get a truck, a decent truck
which may cost me about $ 10k to $ 15,000. So I
am not sure if I should get the car fixed then work
on getting a truck or get a truck then work on
getting the car fixed later.

I would get a newer truck for a daily driver and keep the Jag as a project car. Assuming that you have a place to store the Jag, won't lose interest in it, and your financial situation will allow you to keep moving forward on the Jag. Hope that helps! Jim
