How serious does an accident have to be to get listed in the vehicle report?

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Under your vehicle listing,  when it lists an
accident, what does that mean? Is there a cost of
damage required before an accident is reported or
could it be something simple like a shopping car
dinged it?

Usually if the police are involved it will show up on a vehicle history report. Or in some cases the repair facility will report it. Hope that helps! Jim
