2018 Focus SE stereo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The radio and display is supposed to run for 15
minutes with the engine off but goes dead in 2.5
minutes and won't turn back on until the engine is
restarted.  Dealer replaced th battery and poz
cable first 2 times. I need to know why before I
take it in for the 3rd time for this problem.

This is part of the exit delay system and that is controlled by the BCM, it may need a re-flash or even replaced. Seems odd the dealer didn’t check that first thing.

I vote for the BCM too. Most likely needs to be replaced and flashed. Hope that helps! Jim
