Inbox appears to be useless

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I've received messages indicating interest, availability,
providing more pictures, test drives, and 2 offers.
EVERY SINGLE ONE I've responded to shows unread,
and I've gotten no response. This is extremely
frustrating and it looks like not only is the inbox
useless, this is a problem that's been around for years
with no fix in sight. There's no way to make sure my
responses are even getting sent.

What's the solution here?

I can't get the site to recognize my E-Mail , it is what it is , I think I.T. has their handful as others also have problems . There was a time when the forum was loaded with crazy spam and nonsense , There would be 2-3 pages of it , we used to go through the posts flagging them everyday . I don't buy/sell cars here I just help people with their repairs .
