Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Recently I have checked couple of cars is say 0
accident but when I checked carfax it
mentioned that the car has damages.

Cargurus should make it mandatory to report

It costs time and money for buyers.

There are several vehicle history report companies out there now. The accuracy of the report is based on agencies and repair shops reporting to them. For example, if you look at the Carfax Report for my 1993 Caprice you'll see where I bought it in October of 1993 then nothing until January of 2000. That's because the Chevy Dealer where I took it, exclusively, for service didn't start reporting to Carfax until January of 2000. Hope that helps! Jim
