My car want crank I changed the starter

have done this before, turns out the motor was "toast" valve/cam out of position~ wasted my money on a new starter~ would verify the TDC is not interfering anywhere before proceeding~

Year make and model would be nice to know. Do the basics, check battery cable connections, slightly bend the battery cables and if they make a crunching sound they need replaced, check for starter crank signal from the ignition switch when in the crank position, if no power then it a bad ignition switch, safety switch or wiring issues. Most late model vehicles have a security system then when active disable starter, fuel pumps, ignition circuits.
