Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi everyone~ Unfortunately I have to buy a new car to replace my 1994 Chevy Beretta w/ only 40,000 original miles.
(Everything just started failing-No idea as to why).  So, I have been researching everything I can think of -
Nissan: Juke, Rogue, Versa.   Toyota: RAV-4, Yaris.   Kia: Forte, Sportage(?).    Honda: Fit, CR-V.
Hyundai: Sante Fe.    My price range, maximum, is $ 20,000.  My problem is finding a vehicle that has a good rating,
looks decent AND holds some resale value. Any and ALL suggestions would be greatly appreciated at this point.
Thanks in advance! ~ Ali

Sounds like you don't drive very much to have a 20 year old car with only 40k miles. Why a small SUV? The best thing is to drive a few & see if you like any of them. My friend bought a Honda CR-V but traded it in after 2 years because the seat did not support his 6ft 2in body. Good Luck.
