question of CPO vehicle

Most states require rental cars be registered as such, Carfax will note if it has ever been registered as a rental, or you can do you own motor vehicle report. Check with your state's title office if it has such a provision.
Thank you. Will do. I assume your answer implies that a car dealer who leased a car for 2 years (for example) would not have the "rental" designation, i.e, the car would not be registered as a rental. I guess that begs the question as to whether a leased car has its own designation on a vehicle report?
No a leased car does not, a leased car is not a rental car. Vehicles owned by rental and livery companies are titled as such. Insurance companies can also see if a vehicle was used as a rental, as it would have carried special insurance.
