what 2017 or 2018 models still have a CD player?

My wife just bought a 2018 Subaru Forester that has a one disc player in it. She had to go through a bunch on-line of the dealers stock to find one, These junkers they try to push off on folks nowadays really make me want to buy a restored 50 of 60's car. OK, rant over.

Hyundai 2018 Sante Fe has 1 disc cd..I got the car for other reasons but it's a plus for the option of cd playing!

General Motors has pretty much eliminated cd players from it's entire line of vehicles. Your best bet is to look at a Ford, Nissan and some Toyotas still have a cd player. But not for long. going to miss my 2005 matrix w a 6 cd player when it runs out...still going strong for now...I have close to 1500 cd's , mp3's don't have nearly the sound quality....kids theese days don't seem to care about sound quality

The good thing about CDs is once you have it, you have it for life, unlike digital media that can easily be lost or overwritten. That being said, like the headphone jack, the CD has an expiration date and we will all eventually be forced to go wireless...

I too have been looking for a vehicle with a cd player. Alas, we are the forgotten generation. Everything is now geared to younger people with technology knowledge. Well, my money is as good as theirs but evidently not good enough to warrant having our needs met. Chevy is the worst. Have always been a Chevy buyer ... maybe not anymore.

I just bought a 2018 Toyota Avalon Limited and it has a 1 Disc CD Player in it. The 2018 Camrys do not have any CD player in any of the models.

Really miss my CD player I have so much great music. I'm not as tech savvy as other people and just miss MY music

I love my car and have specially made cds of my favorite songs. I am so upset that auto makers are forcing them out. Driving long distances I do not want Blue Tooth or have to use a smart phone charged to play. What quality is that? Yikes. Older folks have the money to buy autos. We are RELIABLE. Stop forcing lesser quality ideas for dumb entitled who do not know quality.

Why are a lot of car industries leaving the cd player off?!? I own a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and NONE of their new Elantra's have a cd player. That is a must for me!

this has nothing to do with "Tech Savy". it's about business. forcing you to subscribe to a service to listen to music, rather simply listening to music you own. I am 80 years old and have no trouble at all streaming music in my car or whereever. I love Pandora, but I see no reason to be denied my enjoyment of my full set of every Beatles album I have on CD.

Why can they not have a system that does both.

Sierras, Yukons, and Impalas have cd players standard or optional.

I will not buy a car without a CD player. I have hundreds of CDs and want to hear what I want not what Pandora thinks I want.

So,my honda crv 2017, doesn't have a cd player,I thought I'd adjust,ughh,into my second contract with sirrus,twice lost total service,back to the dealer to have them service system,so frustrated, I miss my cd player!!!!

I, too, have been car shopping for auto with cd player. There are some 2016, 2017, 2018 vehicles with one disc player - better than nothing but I don't want to have to manually change discs every 30-40 minutes while driving. I love having 5 or 6 discs loaded. Not happy about the change, but 2019 Volkswagen Tiguans have multi cd player in glove box plus ApplePlay, mp3 and other stream options. I'm not sure about other VW models. Amost went for Tiguan but for other reasons did not. Think I may keep driving my 2009 sedan with multi disc player until it dies. The old relic.

GuruSB9XD, Thanks for that info re: the Volkswagon Tiquan. A multi player? Wow, really? Didn't see that listed in the specs. Started looking for a new vehicle this year, preferably a suv and I was shocked when I discovered no CD players. Now I am downright angry. I have certain music I listen to for long distance travels and they're all cd's. It's bad enough that some of them need to be replaced and they're becoming increasingly more difficult to find. I too, have had Sirius, Pandora, I Heart Radio, etc, but when I want to listen to particular music, I know the lineup by heart and expect it to be played that way. Never had a need for an mp3 player and at 62, I don't intend to start. It's bad enough if I have to burn/duplicate my CDs to a stick, I have to buy equipment to do that. My computer doesn't have a player either. My 1990 Plymouth Lazer had a 6 CD changer and an equalizer and I suffered when my next car only had a single player. I remember how overjoyed I was when I bought my Mitsubishi 3000 GT had a multi channel10 CD player, each magazine holding ten apiece, so I always had 20 loaded in it ready to go, plus the magazine's were interchangeable with my 50 CD home system. Just pIck them up & exchange. WHAAAHHH!!!!. Why didn't I keep those set-ups ???? SMH !!!! SO, even tho the Tiquan is smaller than I wanted, it may be my new car. I did find a link to non portable CD players that are made for most new vehicles (if you have a place to put them) but unfortunately I can't find that link now. Will post it here if I should find it again.

We’ve started looking at the three seat subs/crvs or whatever they’re called and I’m dying. Nothing anymore seems to have a CD player. I have a 2008 Ford Fusion with over 200,000 miles with a 6 CD player. Only reason looking for new vehicle is because daughter having a third child and we have the kids a lot, so the Fusion isn’t big enough. I’m extremely upset

same problem, I have over 1000 cd's and sound system at home that costs 10k, but would like a car with cd player, my 2008 RAV 4 has low millage so I will keep it. Body is beat up from city parking but runs fine. LOBBY !!!

We should all get together nationally and boycott the cars that force you to buy a music subscription and have no CD player. Plus some now have manual windows and Kia and Hyundai are getting rid of the spare tires?? Cheap bastards. You get what you pay for it the cheap jerks! I want a vehicle with a cd player, my husband has a kia Sportage 2018 and it has a cd player, but the sound quality sucks I wanted a Buick, SUV but can't find one with a cd player, what is wrong with this country, us older folks just get left out, when we never grew up with all this Teknowledgy. but were the ones paying cash for the new vehicles, the makers really need to get more brains?
