Honda Civic 2017
Honda Civic had not even 3 months. Sorry junk.
Capless gas tank has froze three times unable to
put gas. Sure not made for the North. This morning
at 8 unlocked car started well. Within half hour
could not unlock car. So sick of this piece of junk
and stuck with it. What's the cause of it not
unlocking

These do not sound like major issues, and certainly do not make the car "junk". You have a warranty, use it. The job to fix the issue lies with the dealership, not you.

I noticed the first couple times I put gas in my car that there was always water peeking out of the flap of the capless system. the rainwater runs right into it! Something about the angle of the body where the gas port is. Mine froze on me the come January before I could fill it the 3rd time. Lucily I tried filling it early enough where I had enough gas to get to work and then bring it to them. They melted the ice and told me that they heard of this issue on CR-v's but not on Civics yet. That is because most people don't pay attention to small details like water peeking out of your gas port! I started harassing Honda about it. They finally came up with a solution and created a cup-like cover that the dealership will install on the inside of the gas port door. They will fix it if you make them aware that you are aware. I don't think they will recall it or make the cup thingy a standard on all new cars coming out (I'm curious if they have added that extra protection now that the issue is KNOWN! please check and see if it has on newer models) probably because after a few years of water seeping into the fuel system, it will do some major damage to the engine and you'll have to buy a new Honda. It will probably look like it is not their own fault and might even be very difficult to diagnose the issue. Thoughts? I had a dream I was able to pick my Honda civic up with my bare hands to get it out of the snow or a rut or something. Maybe you're right and it's not meant for the cold. Not enough heft to these things. They don't make em like they used to.
