2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I thought I had run my battery down on
my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
but once jumped, it wouldn't start
unless it was boosted. AAA checked
and said battery was fine but there was
a huge drain on it even though I had
lights, heater & radio all turned off. AAA
tech said it seemed to be the starter
but when I try to start it there is maybe
one click if that. Any ideas? Please?

The starter may have to be replaced. Try tapping all over the starter with a small hammer, please do not bang on it, while turning the key to the start position. You can also spray it with WD-40. This may work.
