The owners manual I have doesn't mention anything about how to reprogram the key fob to the car, and the first dealership I went to was useless. My 2015 Durango is now sitting at home depot because it won't start.
UnLock and lock then try to star the truck if tha don’t work use the fob to push the star button instead.
Try pressing the key fob closed tighter, my 19 charger was doing the same thing and it was just not getting contact inside
After Replacing the battery in the key fob myself still only had lock unlock and remote start options. Was so irritated decided I would try an old-school engine light trick. Took the battery out of the key fob disconnected the battery for the engine for 30 seconds. Hooked the engine battery back up then put the battery back in the key fob and Bam. Key fob works like new.

Oh my goodness please just replace both batteries at the same time fobs at the same time then do the fob reprogram from inside the car and go bust bugs
Turn the key anti-clockwise to unlock the door. If you find a 'No key detected' warning on your dashboard, you'll need to locate the emergency key pick up point. Its location can be found in your vehicle's online owner's manual, or in the handbook that came with the car. Place the key against the pickup point then press START. If that doesn't work, this article should help: https://www.youcanic.com/wiki/start-car-showing-key-not-detected
