how to verify a buyer

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

i received an offer from a buyer as the first communication with no questions
and didn't see the car.  Its suspicious.  how can i verify that the buyer is real
and has the funds?

This type of "offer" is probably just a flake inquiring about the car. I would tell them that I do not accept offers until they have seen the car in person. What you do is up to you.
