Thank you for the advice! What I do now is filter by "Closest First," which jumbles up the good/bad deals, but places the Carvana results at the end. And that really underscores the oversaturation of their stuff--e.g. I'll get 10 pages of results, and near the bottom of the first page I start seeing Carvana. For the next nine pages, it's nothing but Carvana

You found a solution! I have never seen a car search filter that allows you to exclude certain terms but it could be handy.

Carvana is a scam which is why people want to filter it. They DO NOT HAVE THE CARS they claim to have. Cargurus, if they are reputable, need to provide filters for that fact.

Under "Filters", select "search in description" and in your search field use "-carvana" and they will be omitted. Voila!
